First Visit

Welcome to the Complete Care Injury Center

We understand that arriving at a doctor’s office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.

That's why at Complete Care Injury Center our aim is to remove any stress or causing unnecessary tension and to make you feel comfortable.

So, here’s what to expect when you come to CCIC. – NO Surprises!!

Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our electronic patient forms. These forms will provide us with your health history and information on your accident.

Examination

After your consultation, our licensed chiropractic physician will perform a complete chiropractic examination, test your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with our licensed chiropractic physicians to discuss your injury-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for our care team to learn more about you, your injuries, and expectations to determine how our care can impact your recovery process.

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific injuries and conditions, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and any existing degeneration.

Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, the doctor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
1. What injuries did I sustain due to my accident?
2. How can you help me?
3. How often do I need to come in?
4. What are my treatment options?

After reviewing your injury history, examining your spine and X-rays, the doctor will make recommendations including a treatment plan. Your injuries may require care with other providers and we would make any appropriate referrals. At CCIC we provide the best evidence-based treatment and recovery program for your needs.

Treatment

Upon conclusion of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first treatment. This may include electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, spinal adjustments, physiotherapy, and/or soft tissue massage. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
